Valerie Ganetsky, PharmD, MSHP, BCPS
Valerie Ganetsky, PharmD, BCPS (Clinical Pharmacy) received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Temple University School of Pharmacy in Philadelphia. After graduation, she completed two years of post-graduate training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she had the opportunity to study patterns of non-administered pharmacologic thromboprophylaxis under the guidance of the Director for the Center of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy. She currently holds a faculty appointment as an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy within the University of the Sciences. She also practices at the Cooper University Hospital Urban Health Institute in Camden, NJ where she serves as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team that strives to provide better care at lower costs through innovative models of care to underserved patients. Her research interests include clinical redesign and patient engagement among patients with poorly controlled diabetes and high utilizers of the health care system.
