Michael Rey, MD, MSHP
Michael Rey, MD is a fellow in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree in History and Literature from Harvard University and graduated AOA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He subsequently completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During residency, Dr. Rey earned the American College of Physicians Exemplar of Professionalism Award. Dr. Rey’s research focus is on improving the care of patients with chronic respiratory failure with a particular focus on better understanding of optimal transition of young adults with neuromuscular disease and respiratory failure to the adult care setting.
