Kerry Meltzer, MD

MSHP Student

Dr. Kerry Meltzer is an internist at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia and a fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Meltzer completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Bowdoin College and obtained her M.D. at George Washington University School of Medicine where she was also in the health policy track. Prior to medical school, she worked at the National Institutes of Health researching novel treatments for hepatitis C. She completed residency in internal medicine/primary care at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City. 

During her time at the NCSP, she is interested in researching how to improve outcomes for uninsured and underinsured populations through systems-level healthcare reform that also reduces costs and lowers barriers to care.
