Daniel Resnick

Class of 2021

Daniel Resnick is a fourth year medical student taking a year off to complete the MSHP degree. He hails from Massachusetts and received a bachelor's degree in international relations from Tufts University. After working at a small foreign policy think tank for two years, Daniel developed a passion for medicine and eventually made the transition that landed him at the University of Pennsylvania for medical school. Nonetheless, he is still very interested in integrating his future clinical work with both health services research and policy advocacy, namely in the areas of disease prevention and reducing health care disparities in the United States. His research thus far has focused on barriers to and facilitators for preventing HIV, and he hopes to work on creative PrEP implementation projects as part of the MSHP program.
