Anna Costello, MD

Dr. Anna Costello is a Pediatric Rheumatology Fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed her undergraduate and medical school studies at Brown University before coming to CHOP for her Pediatrics Residency. She served as a chief resident at CHOP and then worked as a Pediatric Hospital Medicine attending for several years before deciding to return to fellowship. She is interested in diagnostic delay and the communication of diagnostic uncertainty. Through the MSHP degree, she looks forward to developing the skills she needs to study diagnostic delays in children with rheumatic disease to help guide quality improvement efforts to minimize the time to diagnosis for our patients.
