Michael Luke, MD

Dr. Michael Luke is a Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a focus in health equity research. He was born and raised in NY, where he studied civil engineering at the Cooper Union and attended medical school at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He then completed his residency in Social Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, where he developed an interest in leveraging health systems to improve the socioeconomic infrastructure of surrounding communities through social support, policy change, and violence prevention. His recent work has focused on implementing and evaluating methods of addressing social needs for families admitted to the hospital.
