Adora Moneme

Adora Moneme is fourth-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. She is originally from Union, New Jersey. She is a 2019 graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health and a minor in Psychology. During that time, she became heavily involved in community outreach diversity and inclusion initiatives. In medical school, she became clinically interested in surgery. Adora plans to use her MSHP to pursue research that address issues of health equity in the context of surgical access and outcomes. She plans to further broaden her work in legislative advocacy and ultimately use her research to enact policy changes that improves healthcare for populations historically marginalized.
