Daniel Zheng, MD
Daniel Zheng, MD, MHS is a pediatric hematology-oncology fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a National Clinician Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. His research is focused on examining how poverty-related disparities develop across the pediatric cancer care continuum and developing interventions to mitigate these disparities in long term survivors. He studied psychology and subsequently obtained his MD and a Master's in Health Sciences at Yale University. He also previously worked at a respite care facility for the homeless in Washington D.C. through Americorps. Prior to fellowship, he completed his pediatrics residency through the Urban Health and Advocacy Track of the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident.
