Deepa Ramadurai, MD

Dr. Deepa Ramadurai is a fellow in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She earned a BA in Biological Sciences with a minor in Spanish Language at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and an MD from the Zucker School of Medicine in New York. She subsequently completed her internal medicine residency and chief residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. She is interested in studying measurable exposures and determinants of why health disparities arise in critical care, to ultimately change policy and practice to mitigate these disparities. She is also interested in decision science related to provider, patient, and family communication in the ICU.
