Yuan He, MD, MPH
Yuan He, MD, MPH is a general pediatrician from Tempe, Arizona. She received her undergraduate degree at Yale University, then spent a year in rural Honduras working with a medical non-profit organization, where she became interested in public health and health policy. She received an MD and MPH from the University of Arizona, and completed pediatric training in the Urban Health and Advocacy Track of the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident. She is a fellow in the National Clinician Scholars Program and hopes to advance health equity and racial justice through research-informed policy. Her research interests include child maltreatment prevention and the school to prison pipeline, and she is particularly interested in how different sectors and systems can work together to better support system-involved youth.
