Ravi Gupta, MD

Ravi Gupta, MD, is an internist and a National Clinician Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania. His research focuses on how health policy and systems can better serve vulnerable populations by eliminating health disparities and improving access to affordable medicines. He studied molecular genetics, political science, and economics at The Ohio State University. He worked in India for two years as a Research Associate for the MIT Jameel Poverty Action Lab. He completed his medical training at the Yale School of Medicine and his residency in the Johns Hopkins Hospital Osler Medical Training Program within the Urban Health track.
