Whitney Orji

Whitney is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania. She is originally from Austin, Texas. She graduated from Rice University in 2016 with a BS in Bioengineering and minor in global health technologies. During that time, she became interested in delivery of healthcare to marginalized communities both in the US and abroad. In medical school, she became clinically interested in surgery and plans to address issues of health equity in the context of surgical care, especially as it relates to injury prevention in adolescents and women.
