Keven Cabrera, MD
Dr. Keven Cabrera is a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia with a focus in health justice and environmental health justice research. He was born and raised in the NY area, completing his undergraduate education at Vassar College and medical school at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He completed his residency in General Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, where he focused his time outside of clinical medicine on social determinants of health education and inpatient screening implementation. He also works as part of Penn Medicine’s Urban Health Lab at the Center for Health Justice as a research fellow. His work there focuses around testing and implementing interventions to dismantle structural racism and its resulting health injustices through community-centered environmental interventions.
