Jose Reyes, MD

Dr. Jose Reyes is the inaugural research fellow in the Department of Emergency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his BS in biochemistry and minored in creative writing at Texas State University and received his MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his training in emergency medicine at Cook County Hospital where he served as chief resident. His research focus relates to reproductive & women's health. With obstetric and gynecologic care being limited nationally and disproportionately impacting underserved communities, his work aims to broaden the ability of emergency physicians to care for reproductive health complications and emergencies.
