Alexis Boulter, MD
Dr. Alexis Chen Boulter is a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She is from Jacksonville, Florida, and completed the combined M.D./B.S. Medical Honors Program at the University of Florida with a concentration in Local and Global Health Equity. She did her combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern and served as their Med-Peds Chief Resident. During her time in Texas, she remained involved in state-level advocacy and contributed to disparities research centered on the outcomes and toxicities of Hispanic patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in Texas and oncology referral networks along the Texas-Mexico border. Her research interests are focused on addressing disparities in oncologic care with an emphasis on social and structural determinants of health and the adolescent and young adult experience. She strives to leverage this work to propose implementation interventions to alleviate inequities in cancer care delivery and outcomes.
